Calgarian jailed in U.S. for child sex tourism | Canada | News | Toronto Sun: "The former Calgary scout master once jailed for molesting choir singers has been sentenced to 25 years in a U.S. jail for operating a Thailand boy brothel geared toward touring pedophiles.

John Wrenshall, 64, won't be free until he's at least 85, U.S. Justice officials said following his sentencing in a New Jersey federal court Monday.

While shy of the 27-year maximum Wrenshall faced under sentencing guidelines, U.S. District Attorney Paul Fishman hailed the term as a victory in 'the most depraved case' he'd ever seen, in which Wrenshall pimped boys as young as three to sex tourists from around the globe.

'John Wrenshall created a place where innocent children were sexually brutalized as a vacation pastime,' Fishman said.

'Children represent what is best in us, and Wrenshall's monstrous conduct represents the worst.'"
